Cheese Stuffed Pizza Meatballs in the Slow Cooker
/ April A.makes 8 meatballs
1 pound of ground beef
4 mozzarella cheese sticks
1 jar of your favorite pasta red sauce
salt and pepper
fresh parmesan cheese
Line your slow cooker with a crock-pot liner. Turn your crock-pot on the high setting.
Form meat into a ball then flattens it slightly. Using a pastry cutter or knife cut into 1/4 size pieces and then into 1/8 size pieces.
Cut cheese sticks in half.
Form each piece of meat into a ball. Flatten ball a little bit and form into a ball over the cheese piece. Repeat for each piece of meat.
Place meatballs into the slow cooker and pour the sauce over top. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cook in a slow cooker for 2 hours on high until meat is cooked all the way through.
Top with freshly grated parm!
