One Word JOY * Sweet Apron Giveaway

My one word for 2013 is joy.

 "men are that they might have joy." 2 Nephi 2:25

How does one find joy?

 “I slept and dreamt that life was joy. I awoke and saw that life was service. I acted and behold, service was joy.” Rabindranath Tagore

I was inspired by the word joy. During this holiday season I was able to witness the face of pure joy from allowing someone to serve me. Allowing and receiving from others is part of giving. How are we to give and serve if no one is willing to receive?  It is a beautiful thing to witness the pure joy on someones face as they are able to serve you.  I have experienced the joy of services but I had never looked upon another as the receiver to see the glow of joy in them.
In 2013 I will be seeking joy in my life. Joy in the simple chores in life from making dinner for my family or the joy of a sweet baby's smile to the joy of a new cozy sweater or a fridge full from grocery shopping.
I have found the word joy to also be empowering. It's a funny thing how this simple word joy has given me the power to say no to those things that do not bring joy.
