It's blueberry season. In the Northeastern United States blueberries are everywhere in August. You can buy them at a roadside stand, at a pick your own berry farm or pick them in the wild. Our simple sweet wild blueberry sauce is perfect on on your morning pancakes or a rich vanilla bean ice cream- a cool treat on a hot summers day.
Wild Blueberry Sauce Recipe
- 1 pint fresh blueberries

In a medium sized glass mixing bowl pour sugar and blueberries. With a fork smash about half the berries to release the juices. Mix the sugar and berries together. Let set for about 10 minutes until the juices release for the blueberries. Serve over ice cream. Enjoy!
